BECOMING A MEMBER
Welcome to the Midland County Sportsman's
Club
To become a member, you
must come to the new member meeting.
Apr. - Oct. on the 1st. Monday of
each month @ 7pm to 8:30.
Nov. - Mar. on the 1st Saturday of each month @
9am to 10:30.
Prior to being accepted for membership in the club, all prospective members will
review the club rules, policies and procedures in person, at this meeting with a
club official designated by the Board of Directors.
When the club official is confident the prospective member understands and
intends to obey the rules, the club official will forward the prospective
member’s
application for membership to the Board of Directors for review.
Membership shall be based on character and interest in conservation and
shooting sports, not such things as ethnic background, age, orientation or
disabilities.
Divisiveness will not be tolerated.
What you will need:
Membership dues (See below).
Driver's license or State ID
required.
You will be requires to fill out a membership application at the meeting. You
might bring an ink pin.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE $80. (Sep. thou Aug. see below)
There is a $20 one time initiation fee (=$100 for first year)
After 1st. year, members under 35
or over 60 years young dues are $60.
The membership year is from September 1st through August 31st.
Persons joining from August board meeting though April will pay a full year’s
dues which will entitle them to membership through the following August 31st.
Those joining from May 1st though July have a choice of paying the full year’s
dues for the NEXT membership year plus a pro-rate per month for the balance of
the current membership year or pay a full years dues valid though August 31st of
the current year.
The pro-rate amounts are:
April $60 + $20 + $80 for next year = $160
May $50 + $20 + $80 for next year = $160
June $40 + $20 + $80 for next year = $150
July $30 + $20 + $80 for next year = $130
August $10 + $20 + $80 for next year = $130
